A big blur

The past few months seem like one big blur to me.  There are moments where time seems to move slowly and I have endless hours to just veg and relax.  But in the grand scheme of things, the days and weeks are all blended together and I’m constantly condering where has all the time gone.

I look back on the holidays and lament a little over all the things I didn’t feel I had time to do.  I would of baked more or spent more time taking pictures of all the get togethers.  Even New years seemed so rushed.  I didn’t take any time off and I know that contributed to the hurried feeling.  We spent a portion of each weekend at my place cleaning and organizing.  That seemed to be a big time drainer.

So I’m very much looking forward to time passing a bit more slower next week when we’re in Hawaii.  I want to soak in as much time relaxing, napping, eating and enjoying the company of my hubby as possible.  Once we get back we’ll be in full baby mode.

Now that we have finished the move, its time to start organizing everything.  Dumplings room needs a lot of attention.  The basement is a big mess of boxes and random things.  P joked that he was going to make it his man cave where he can escape from all the females in the house.  Ha!

Work has been really busy due to one main project and a co-worker going on maternity leave.  I’ll be covering for her while she’s gone and there will be a lot to do before she gets back.  We’ll be like two ships passing in the night, I leave about a week after she comes back to work.  We have someone new starting next week that will cover a lot of her work but I need to train her.

Dumpling kicks pretty hard now.  P can feel her kicks if he puts his hand on my belly.  She seems very active during certain times of the day and quiet during most of the day.  I have also noticed that she is now kicking in different places.  Before I felt all the kicks in the same place.  I can’t wait to see her again when we get back from our trip.
